We apply the first coat for you, which nourishes the bamboo and brings out the contrast of the engraving.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Care<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hand wash in warm soapy water, then wipe and let it dry standing up.<\/li>\n<li>No dishwasher and no prolonged soaking: the bamboo could swell or crack.<\/li>\n<li>Reapply a thin coat of food-grade mineral oil about once a month, or whenever the wood looks dry or paler.
