Engraved bamboo cutting board – Wolf in the forest “Force de la nature”

A wolf stepping proudly out of a snowy fir forest: this bamboo cutting board with a handle is laser-engraved in our workshop in Farnham, in Quebec’s Eastern Townships.

Below the design, the phrase “Force de la nature” (force of nature) is engraved in cursive. Bamboo is durable, strong and light, perfect for meal prep or for serving cheese, charcuterie and appetizers.

Paddle shape with a hole in the handle: easy to hang on the kitchen wall or near the fireplace when you’re not using it.

A gift with character : fête des Pères, pendaison de crémaillère, amateurs de chasse, de chalet, de plein air ou de vie en forêt.

Ready to use: each board is treated with food-grade mineral oil before shipping. We apply the first coat for you, which nourishes the bamboo and brings out the contrast of the engraving.

Care

• Hand wash in warm soapy water, then wipe and let it dry standing up.
• No dishwasher and no prolonged soaking: the bamboo could swell or crack.
• Reapply a thin coat of food-grade mineral oil about once a month, or whenever the wood looks dry or paler. Avoid vegetable oils (olive, canola, sunflower…), which go rancid over time.
• Tip: to keep the engraving intact longer, cut on the back of the board and keep the engraved side for serving.

Each piece is engraved individually: the bamboo’s natural grain makes every board slightly unique.
